My goal at Ciao Andiamo is to open doors - doors that are typically locked or hidden away to the everyday tourist - for travelers to explore the beauty of Italy.

Italy is an unlimited trove of beauty and emotion. In every village, around every corner, in every region, there is something to explore. The country is rich with history and tradition, and even as an Italian native, the surprises here never end.

My wife Cristiana and I met in Terni, Umbria and lived together in the city of Genoa. After having our fill of the city life, we moved to the scenic Spello, Umbria, a romantic hill town with medieval walls and cobblestone streets. We soon took our first step into the travel industry in 1997, when we discovered a 15th century home in the nearby town of Stroncone and transformed it into a countryside bed & breakfast.

Surrounded by the rolling hills and great wine and food of Umbria, we began to take our guests on excursions through the region. We soon widened our scope to encompass all of Italy, finding hidden treasures and leading tours across the many regions.

Meeting Jon in 2011 and joining him at Ciao Andiamo was the perfect next step for me and my wife, as we were able to focus on what we love the most: sharing our years of experience of Italy and its treasures with our guests.

In addition to overseeing our on-the-ground activities in Italy, I also personally lead many of our small group tours. Sharing my knowledge and love for local history, breathtaking scenery, and culinary traditions is my greatest passion. The rich culture of Italy is a joy to explore, and I am thrilled to be able to share these amazing experiences with our travelers.
