Day 2

Explore by Private Boat

Uncover the beauty of Lake Como on a 5-hour private boat tour chartered by a local captain. Your day will include stops to explore breathtaking villas such as Villa Balbianello or Villa Monastero and lakeside towns such as Como and Bellagio. Enjoy lunch on your own at one of our favorite spots in a panoramic lakeside setting. (If staying in Milan, embark on a half-day private guided walking tour of the historic center including Leonardo’s Last Supper).

Day 3

Venture to Piedmont

Take private car service from Lake Como to your accommodations in Piedmont. Spend the afternoon settling in to your new surroundings and exploring on your own.

Day 4

Food, Wine & Countryside

Spend the day exploring the picturesque region of Piemonte with one of our knowledgable local drivers. Whet your appetite with a private tasting at a renowned cheese ager in Bra, home to the worldwide biennial cheese festival and the headquarters of Italy’s Slow Food movement. Continue on to a local vineyard for an extended winery tour, tasting and lunch. Cap off the day traveling through the panoramic Langhe area (a UNESCO World Heritage site) with visits to towns such as Barolo or La Morra.

Day 5

Hunt for Truffles

Venture on a half-day truffle hunt through the forest with a Piemontese hunter and his dogs. Learn the storied art of truffle hunting, passed down within families for generations. After the hunt, feast on your finds from the day, with a tasting of truffles paired with wine from the region.

Day 6

Head to the Riviera

Enjoy private car service to the Italian Riviera, with the option to add on a stop en route, such as a hands-on class making amaretti (traditional almond-flavored Italian cookies), winery tour and tasting in Gavi or lunch in a local trattoria.

Day 7

Soak in the Seaside

Spend the day at your leisure relaxing on the riviera. Stroll around town, lounge at the beach or poolside, or consider a hike along the scenic Mediterranean cliffs.

Day 8

Day Trip Along the Coast

Enjoy your last full day in Italia at your leisure, with the possibility to add on a private boat or driving excursion exploring nearby coastal towns such as Portofino or the famed Cinque Terre.
