Day 1

Benvenuti to the Dolomites!

Meet your dedicated tour leader in Venice and begin your scenic journey to the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. En route, explore Trento, the capital of the Trentino region. Your guide will share the town’s rich history, bringing its Gothic and Renaissance architecture to life, culminating in a visit to the majestic Castle Buonconsiglio. Enjoy lunch at a restaurant renowned for local delicacies and craft beer since 1906. Then toast your adventure with refreshing sparkling wines while touring a nearby winery. End the day with arrival at your hotel and a group dinner nestled in the heart of the Dolomites.

Day 2

Trek the Gardena Valley

After a hearty breakfast, embark on an easy-to-moderate guided hike in the picturesque Gardena Valley, known for its stunning vistas and unique woodcrafts. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a rifugio (mountain hut) while indulging in traditional specialties such as dumplings (canederli) and cured meats. Spend a relaxing evening at your hotel, enjoying more local cuisine for dinner. Adventurous souls can opt for a challenging Via Ferrata hike at an additional cost for a thrilling experience.

Day 3

Explore Bolzano

Today you’ll travel to Bolzano, capital of South Tyrol and gateway to the Dolomites. Delight in a private guided tour of the enchanting historic center, featuring narrow streets, medieval buildings, and a visit to the museum housing the famous Ötzi the Iceman mummy. Sample a fusion of Italian and Austrian dishes, like schnitzel and speck, with lunch at a local restaurant. Then return to your hotel, taking in the scenic beauty of the Eisack Valley along the way.

Day 4

Discover Cortina d’Ampezzo

Leave the Trentino region and drive through the renowned Gardena Pass, capturing breathtaking views along the way. Arrive in Cortina d’Ampezzo, the “Queen of the Dolomites,” famous for its stunning mountain backdrop and hosting the Winter Olympics. Check into your hotel and enjoy free time to explore this vibrant town before gathering with the group for dinner.

Day 5

Hike the Three Peaks

Start your day with breakfast overlooking the majestic mountain scenery, then embark on a guided hike around the captivating Three Peaks of Lavaredo. This half-day excursion features breathtaking panoramas and allows for lunch at a cozy mountain hut. After lunch, visit a picturesque lake with sweeping views before returning to Cortina, where you can spend the evening at your leisure.

Day 6

Experience the Five Towers

Begin the day with an early morning hike to the stunning Five Towers, comprised of dramatic Dolomia rock formations. After a short chairlift ride to Scoiattoli, adjust the level of difficulty for your hike based on the group’s preferences. Explore the area’s scenic beauty and historical significance from World War I before returning to your hotel to savor your last evening in Cortina.

Day 7

Prosecco Farewell

Conclude your adventure with a visit to the acclaimed Prosecco wine region, a UNESCO World Heritage Site characterized by rolling hills and charming villages. Visit a family-run winery where you can enjoy exquisite Prosecco paired with local delicacies. After savoring the flavors of this beautiful region, return to Venice for your departure, bidding farewell to the stunning Dolomites and the unforgettable memories made along the way.
