Day 1

Arrive in Torino

Buongiorno Italia! After meeting your tour leader and the rest of your group, head straight to your accommodations for an early check-in. After, savor a light lunch in a historic bar before embarking on a guided walking tour of the historical city center. Later on, enjoy your first dinner with your group.

Day 2

Explore Royalty

After breakfast at your hotel, depart with your group and head to the breathtaking Palace of Venaria. Here you’ll stroll through alleys designed by the Savoia family, visit the royal palace, and enjoy lunch in a typical osteria inside Venaria Park. Head back to your hotel and spend the rest of the day exploring Turin and enjoying dinner on your own.

Day 3

Piedmont Castles

Check out of your hotel and head to the famous Langhe, stopping en route at a family-run hazelnut farm for a typical Piemontese breakfast. After, visit one of the many medieval castles and admire the view of the iconic rolling hills of the Langhe, the homeland of Barolo and Barbaresco wines.

Enjoy lunch at a local osteria and taste some of the typical dishes of this area, and after, head to a wine tasting at a renowned Barolo producer. On the way to your hotel, stop for a visit at one of the last flour mills in the area, where they still produce many different types of flour using old techniques and tools. Arrive at your hotel, check-in, and enjoy a group dinner in town.

Day 4

Tasting the Langhe

After breakfast at your hotel, head to a Piemontese farm where Sara, a great friend of Ciao Andiamo, will lead you in a farm-to-table vegetarian cooking class with many ingredients grown right there at her family farm. After lunch, explore the area and visit other castles with stunning views of the rolling hills, then return to your hotel and enjoy the evening on your own.

Day 5

Discover the Wine Cathedrals

Have breakfast at your hotel before traveling to Canelli for a full-day excursion of the wine cathedrals. You will visit one of the most spectacular winery cathedrals, Contratto, whose sparkling wine is famous all over the world. Then enjoy a light lunch before departing towards Bra for a special treat: a private cheese tasting at a famous cheese shop whose owner is one of the founders of the Slow Food association, and the cheese selector for Eataly worldwide. After this experience, head back to your hotel and enjoy a group dinner.

Day 6

A Day for Foodies

After breakfast, head to a private farm and meet a local shepherd who runs the farm where they produce several traditional cheeses. Here you will enjoy a cheese tasting and truffle hunt before heading to Alba in the afternoon for free time to explore the town on your own. Later on, have dinner with your group.

Day 7

Arrivederci

Have breakfast on your own before meeting with your tour leader and group and heading back to Turin. Stop for lunch at a typical “enoteca” on the way, then we will bid you arrivederci until our next adventure together!
