What you’ll learn

Week 1: The Wines of the South: Basilicata & Campania – The region of Basilicata is renowned for its red wine, including Aglianico, referred to as the "Barolo of the south." Campania, the home region of Naples, Sorrento, and the Amalfi Coast, produces some exceptional white wines, including Fiano d’Avellino and Falanghina.
Week 2: The Wines of Ischia – The charming island of Ischia, Capri's lesser-known neighbor, remains largely unspoiled by international tourists. The island's volcanic soil and hilly, mountainous terrain make for some wonderful wine production of indigenous grapes.
Week 3: Orange Wines – These unique wines have become more popular in recent years, with some of Italy's most noteworthy orange wines produced in the northeastern region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia. These wines are perfect for a summer aperitivo.
